Course Description
This course has a prerequisite Work Safely at Heights MNMG237A.
Work Safely at Heights covers as an introduction to safe work at heights. The program will cover appropriate selection and correct use of Height Safety Equipment in compliance with current Australian Standards, Regulations, Codes of Practice and manufacturer’s recommendations. Training will be conducted on major brands of equipment. This course aims at providing participants with theoretical and practical knowledge on how to secure a safe work environment when working where there may be a risk of falling.
Tower Rescue course is designed to provide participants the ability to perform a tower rescue in a working environment. The course covers use of equipment that is available and the techniques to perform a tower rescue.
This course involves practical participation and participants will be assessed on the practical component of the course as part of their overall assessment
At the end of this course there is a written assessment.
Duration
This course is conducted over one (1) day.
The course starts at 8:30am and finishes at 4:30pm unless otherwise arranged by the client.
Recommended For
People involved in occupations in which they could during the course of their employment be required to work at heights.
