The basic unit consists of a fan and optional connecting spigot and 5 metres of heavy duty flexible ducting. Fan casing is constructed from heavy gauge aluminium for lightweight durability. The axial flow fan is driven by a 2 pole (2880 rpm) motor rated for continuous duty. Widely spaced feet give the fan stability in use during transport from site to site.
Safety guards (inlet and outlet) prevent accidental ingress of objects during operation. Three heavy duty toggle clamps are fitted to both inlet and outlet sides for rapid change over from extraction to supply mode.
